| Escape to Bohol |
Whenever summer comes along, most beachcombers tend to think of Boracay or Puerto Galera as the places to go to for a fun-filled time at the beach. While those places are deserving of their reputation as excellent summer vacation spots, there are lots of other places in the Philippines that are just as interesting and exciting, and are worth checking out, too. If you're the type who wants more than the usual partying nightlife by the beach, you might want to try Bohol.
Just starting to emerge as an ideal place for discovery and adventure, Bohol has lots to offer the wide-eyed child in all of us. Aside from being famous for their Chocolate Hills and cute, shy tarsiers, which are already givens as must-sees when you visit the island, Bohol has several other natural wonders just waiting to be explored.
At the many beaches alone that have yet to be fully commercialized, there are already plenty of exciting things one can do. You can go whale and dolphin watching in Pamalican Island, snorkeling and scuba-diving at the countless dive spots and see the vibrant marine life up-close, or try your hand at some water sports.
If you're in the mood for some land-based adventure, you can go island-hopping, admire the limestone hills, go through the Loboc River and marvel at the majestic falls there, or visit the numerous caves and bring out the spelunker in you. For sure, nature lovers will never run out of things to rave about in these tours around the island.
Of course, it would also be nice to have a place to relax after all that exploring all over Bohol. There are several ideal places to choose from, but if you're willing to splurge a little on your vacation, the Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa in Panglao would be a good place to take note of. This Bohol resort , located at the southern tip of the island which is known for its white sand beaches, takes pride in allowing vacationers to privately relax at their infinity pool or pamper themselves with their rejuvenating spa service after having had their fill of adventure for the day.
Should you ever feel the urge to go thrill-seeking again, they offer dive packages and sightseeing tours that you can avail of and arrange upon arrival at the resort. They also have sufficient facilities for you to play beach volleyball, badminton, pingpong, or even water sports like jet skiing. Whether it's rest and rejuvenation or adventures you're after, the Eskaya caters to both those needs.
Indeed, the possibilities are endless once you've stepped foot on Bohol. So, what are you waiting for? Get thee packin'!Labels: beachside retreat, Bohol, Bohol Resort, Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa, panglao, panglao resort, spa resort, vacation, vacation spot |

| Boracay’s Best Kept Secret |
Nowhere in the Philippines does ground meet water as seductively as in the Boracay Beach. Sand, sea, and sun all combine to serene effect and make the resort island of Boracay one of the Philippines’ favorite destinations. Until bars and discos started to crowd in Boracay and obliterate what is now considered a luxury on the island: silence. To a considerable extent Boracay turns out to be just another busy city, with a charming beach and a crisp sea air, and not a retreat for city dwellers to escape the bustling metro. Not in the island’s northeastern tip though. Shuttered in from the rest of the island by flamboyant greens and great hills, the Newcoast Beach in Boracay remains one of the best-kept secrets of Boracay where the old ways of enjoying the island are pretty much left untouched. Few resorts and hotels have their addresses at Newcoast Beach in Boracay, which makes the place quiet and where it is still possible to find an isolated stretch of beach, but choices are can be as varied. The golf hotel in Boracay of Fairways and Bluewater Resort is located at an exclusive beach north of the island. Called Mulligan Golf Hotel, this Fairways and Bluewater property has a Graham Marsh-designed golf course, a complete-amenity family hotel in Boracay Island, and two stretches of exclusive white beach. Each room at the Boracay Hotel of Mulligan Golf is, spacious, tidy and unpretentious, equipped with a well-appointed interior and supplemented by the intimate, friendly vibe of the hotel’s tropical island design. Designed and built for golf vacations, family getaways, and watersports and beach holidays, the Mulligan Golf Hotel in Boracay offers a different way of enjoying Boracay.

| AMARELA Is Where Great Memories Are Made |

We Filipinos are getting to appreciate the beautiful sights in our native Philippines more and more nowadays. We Pinoys who are out to excitedly taste the first raindrop of adventure or who are on the hunt for idyllic hideaways have much to discover and explore when they steal away to Bohol, home to the country’s picturesque beaches and romantic retreats.
And quietly sitting by the longest stretch of white beach on Panglao Island is a premium boutique resort called Amarela. Sitting on top of a gentle slope of land, it commands easy access for beachcombers to enjoy a stunning view of the Bohol Sea.
If you want to enjoy staying at a rustic hideaway with massive turn-of-the-century wooden doors, antique furniture and intricate latticework while reaping the convenience of having full accessibility to Internet, satellite TV, and airconditioning, Amarela Resort fits the description like a glove, and is the resort for you.
You can choose to stay in the charming Suite Rooms, or opt to embrace the panoramic seaside with rooms with a Balcony with Sea View.
Wood is predominantly used in the interiors of the guest rooms, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and comfortable.
And just as wood as an element can be pliant and bending, and strong and unyielding, you have an option to succumb to your lazy indulgences as you take leisure tours around Amarela’s plush surroundings, or be firm in your plans to seize adventure using their available kayaks, bancas (native boats) and snorkeling facilities. You can freely allow yourself to be molded to lean towards wherever the refreshing sea breeze will take you.
More often than not, you will find that guests always have memorable stories to share about their stay at Amarela, a lot of them considering it a place that has mostly reminded them of a familiar country home where you can get away from it all. Check out this private and unique beachside retreat, and enjoy an enjoyable story now yours for the telling.
