Enjoy Summer the Peaceful and Relaxing Way at Microtel Inn & Suites Boracay
Boracay has always been known for being the most exciting vacation destination to go to, especially during summer. What with the numerous shops, restaurants, and party events that one can stumble upon at the place, there's never a dull moment for vacationers who are looking to have an exciting and fun-filled experience.
However, contrary to common assumption, not everyone that goes to Boracay is looking to party and experience the buzzing nightlife by the beach. Indeed, some actually go to do the opposite: to relax, escape the fast-paced monotony of city life, and enjoy the tropical beauty of Boracay in peace.
Recognizing this need of some of the island's visitors, Microtel Inn & Suites Boracay provides guests with the privacy and relaxing atmosphere they seek. Located along Diniwid Beach, the hotel is separated from the busier shores of White Beach, exuding an intimate calmness upon guests arriving at the resort. With air-conditioned rooms that have chiropractic-approved beds, window seats, and other hotel amenities specifically designed to provide the utmost comfort, guests are sure to have the relaxing retreat that they are looking for.
Though the hotel is already known for offering understated yet elegant accommodations at an affordable price, Microtel Boracay truly takes pride in the excellent service they provide their guests. Dedicated to making sure guests have a wonderful and memorable experience during their stay, the hotel's warm and very efficient staff are ever mindful of addressing their guests' concerns, sometimes even before they realize their needs.
Perhaps none can say it better than what a review of a recent guest at the hotel had said, attesting to the world-class service of Microtel Boracay. A frequent vacationer at the island, she decided to try the hotel for the first time, hoping for a more peaceful and private holiday with her husband. She was pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness and efficiency of the staff, who went out of their way to make their stay truly enjoyable. To quote: “Our stay at the Microtel in Boracay was truly an experience. Not because its facilities were particularly luxurious or glamorous, or because its guests were celebrities and/or politicians, but because of the quality of the people working there. They are of a different caliber, often going above and beyond the call of duty in an effort to make each guest’s stay as personalized and as pleasant as possible.” Her complete review of the hotel can be read here.
Indeed, if you're looking for a rejuvenating respite at a place where your comfort is top priority, Microtel Boracay is the ideal place for you.

Boracay’s Best Kept Secret
Nowhere in the Philippines does ground meet water as seductively as in the Boracay Beach. Sand, sea, and sun all combine to serene effect and make the resort island of Boracay one of the Philippines’ favorite destinations. Until bars and discos started to crowd in Boracay and obliterate what is now considered a luxury on the island: silence. To a considerable extent Boracay turns out to be just another busy city, with a charming beach and a crisp sea air, and not a retreat for city dwellers to escape the bustling metro. Not in the island’s northeastern tip though. Shuttered in from the rest of the island by flamboyant greens and great hills, the Newcoast Beach in Boracay remains one of the best-kept secrets of Boracay where the old ways of enjoying the island are pretty much left untouched. Few resorts and hotels have their addresses at Newcoast Beach in Boracay, which makes the place quiet and where it is still possible to find an isolated stretch of beach, but choices are can be as varied. The golf hotel in Boracay of Fairways and Bluewater Resort is located at an exclusive beach north of the island. Called Mulligan Golf Hotel, this Fairways and Bluewater property has a Graham Marsh-designed golf course, a complete-amenity family hotel in Boracay Island, and two stretches of exclusive white beach. Each room at the Boracay Hotel of Mulligan Golf is, spacious, tidy and unpretentious, equipped with a well-appointed interior and supplemented by the intimate, friendly vibe of the hotel’s tropical island design. Designed and built for golf vacations, family getaways, and watersports and beach holidays, the Mulligan Golf Hotel in Boracay offers a different way of enjoying Boracay.

Beyond the White Beach of Boracay at Mulligan Golf Hotel
Boracay is a premier resort island in the Philippines where there is good swimming, bright tropical weather, and fine stretches of white sand beaches. On average 90 percent of the time spent in Boracay will likely be used to enjoy the beach and the temperate water. If not, you’re probably doing something wrong. Or dirty. That is, dirty in an outdoorsy kind of way. The resort island of Boracay is not just about the beach, as Philippine Tour is reminded once again during our last visit to the Mulligan Golf Hotel in Boracay. Island charms of Boracay includes the so-called “bug cars,” Mt. Luho, golf hotel, cocktails by the beach, floating spa, underground caves, the list goes on, really. And why take the trouble discovering it all in Boracay? Just because. Trek—See Boracay in a new light, high up in the island’s highest peak called Mt. Luho, with the surf crashing in the shores not far away, and with the crisp sea air refreshingly cool.
Mt. Luho gives a view of Boracay that not many tourists have seen (Read: The path that leads up to the peak is not exactly for the vacation set, as it consists foot-high steps hacked out from the mountain wall). To put an adrenalin fix when scaling Boracay, rent an all-terrain motor bike portentously called “bug cars.” Golf—There is something nice in an island when a really neat golf course is available, like the golf hotel in Boracay of Mulligan’s Fairways and Bluewater. If the sport can get close to you even in Boracay Island, there must be few things else that are not available in Boracay. Shop—Boracay is bazaar haven and its most colorful part is that side of the island where trinket sellers, henna tattoo artists, zipline dancers, and shop owners do business. They can be found in the public beaches across the island. Since the Mulligan Hotel in Boracay sits on an exclusive beach, frequent trips to the local markets can be a problem. Watersport—Walk on the ocean floor, some 20 feet underwater, and swim with the fishes. Or go parasailing, jet skiing, or spelunking through the underground caves of New Coast Beach where the Mulligan Golf Hotel in Boracay is located. Pamper—Get a taste of the island at the Pirate Den and Lookout Point of the hotel in Boracay of Mulligan Golf. Feast on bounties from the sea, chori burgers, hotdogs, baked oysters, beef kebabs, all with the dramatic seascape of Boracay in the backdrop. Also, massage from the resident masseuse, cocktails from the poolside bar, or simply lounging in the hotel’s Paradise Cove complete the island pampering available here at the resort in Boracay of Mulligan Golf Hotel.
